Our memory support program, Bridges, offers a more supportive environment for people with memory impairments.  The Bridges therapeutic recreation program provides frequent, structured leisure activities, daily exercise, sensory programs and many opportunities for one to one interaction to meet the needs of people at any stage of memory loss.

At Bridges, we believe no matter one’s age or ability, there is opportunity for growth and connection with others.  The Bridges neighborhood supports people with memory loss by creating an environment that is friendly, supportive and focuses on having a good day, every day.

Relationships are the foundation of our program.  A person centered assessment is done at the time of admission in order to develop a plan of care that meets the needs of mind, body and spirit.  We focus on the social and personal preferences that make a familiar, enjoyable routine possible.  We understand that the little things, like having your coffee first thing in the morning, taking a long soak in the tub or listening to your favorite songs can make all the difference for quality of life.

In addition, Bridges employees have special training in dementia care and understand the different types of supervision, encouragement and redirection that will foster a positive relationship and sense of calm for your loved one.
